Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.

All skin types can use this antiseptic balm for a variety of concerns - scratches, bruises, mild sunburn on a small area, flakey skin, rosacea and eczema etc. It great on chapped lips and doesn't invoke a feeling of dependency.
Precautions:
Stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist when redness, swelling, or other skin irritations occur, and consult a physician. Avoid applying the product on open wounds or skin inflammation. Keep away from direct sunlight and out of reach of infants and children.

What can Homeoplasmine be used for?
Homeoplasmine can be used for a variety of things! Its matte finish makes it an awesome lip primer, while its balm consistency means it's also soothing on chapped lips. Some use it as an eyebrow pommade (careful to avoid your eyes), while we've even tried it for slugging when our skin was terribly irritated and burned when our regular skincare was used. Pop it on your cuticles in winter to help prevent them from splitting, and apply to rough heels over night. It really lives up to its potential as a multi-purpose repair balm.
Is Homeoplasmine the same as Vaseline?
While Homeoplasmine contains Vaseline, it is not the same as vaseline. Its formula also includes plant extracts like inkberry, calendula and bryony, as well as and boric acid (4%). This means that it has a very similar consistency, but feels less greasy and straddles the line between pharmaceutical and homeopathic.
Can I use Homeoplasmine on my lips?
You can use Homeoplasmine on your lips as a lip balm, although it is not its primary or intended use. Meant as a repair balm for minor cuts, grazes and insect bites, it also feels lovely on dry and chapped lips because it's excellent at retaining moisture. If your lips are particularly dry, try a lip scrub first, dot your favourite moisturizer on, and seal it with a thin layer of Homeoplasmine.
Is Homeoplasmine good for eczema?
Homeoplasmine can be useful for mild eczema, particularly when it comes to dry, itchy patches. Our Beauty Director founds that it keeps her upper lip eczema at bay and can calm a small outbreak. We wouldn't recommend trying it for moderate to severe eczema however, as it not anywhere near as strong as a cortisoid and other traditiona eczema treatments. It's a complementary product rather than the main deal.

Makeup artists during Paris Fashion Week love to use Homeoplasmine as a quick lip salve and primer in one. It helps smooth over chapped lips, and can help stop lipsticks and glosses from bleeding under those bright lights.
