let's recycle!

Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:

1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡

2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.

3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.

FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.

That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ETUDE HOUSE - SUNPRISE MILD AIRY FINISH SUN MILK SPF50+ PA+++?

The Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk is a physical sun cream on the more matte side! It blends into fairer skin tones very well, less so on tan to deep skin tones.

Is Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish a physical or chemical finish?

The Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish offers physical UV filters. Its low turbidity on fair to light caramel skin tones means you don't look like you've just painted your face white. But with that said, it'll still leave a cast on skin tones any deeper.

Is Etude House Sunprise sunscreen good?

The Etude House Sunprise sunscreen is a fan favourite! The lightweight lotion dries to a mattifying finish, making this ideal for skin on the oilier side. It also contains aloe vera and Centella, to soothe your skin in the heat.

Can ETUDE HOUSE - SUNPRISE MILD AIRY FINISH SUN MILK SPF50+ PA+++ be used on all skin types?

We think the Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk works best on combination and oily skin, due to its matte finish. But to be frank, any skin type can use this. As for skin TONES, however, it works best on lighter tones due to the zinc oxide in the formula.

Is Etude House sunscreen actually SPF 50?

There is no universal standard for SPF testing, with every country having their own standards, and their own list of ingredients it classifies as UV filters. Korea has one of the most advanced testing standards in terms of the ingredients it permits in a sunscreen, with some of the newest SPF filters already accepted in the country. This means that while a product can be classified as SPF50+ in Korea, it may not be in United States (where testing standards are more traditional). Australia has some of the stricted standards in the world, and also the most expensive! This is why many brands have not yet invested in TGA testing, given Australia is a relatively small market. If you are comfortable with the Korean standards, then you can take comfort in the fact that The Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk is indeed SPF50+ PA+++.

Is ETUDE HOUSE SUNPRISE MILD AIRY FINISH SUN MILK SPF50+ PA+++ waterproof?

No sunscreen is perfectly waterpoof, and that includes Etude House's Sunprise Milkd Airy Finish Sun Milk. It must be re-applied every two hours, and if you're sweating or swimming, re-apply it sooner to be fully protected.

Is ETUDE HOUSE SUNPRISE MILD AIRY FINISH SUN MILK SPF50+ PA+++ suitable for outdoor activities?

The Etude House Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk is indeed suitable for outdoor activities! It won't melt off your face. But remember, always re-apply every 2 hours, and if you're doing heavy exercise or swimming, re-apply sooner.

Is Etude House sunscreen non comedogenic?

While the Etude House Sunscreen is non-comedogenic, we find the term a bit defunct because it doesn't necessarily mean it can't block your pores! Certain ingredients just don't suit some of us, no matter how 'clean' they are. Always patch test first.
