let's recycle!

Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:

1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡

2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.

3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.

FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.

That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream have hyaluronic acid?

The Laneige Water Bank Moisture cream does contain hyaluronic acid. It's one of many hydrating ingredients in the formula, with others being squalane, glycerin and ceramides. That's why it's so effective at restoring hydration to dry and dehydrated skin!

Does Laneige Water Bank have fragrance?

The Laneige Water Bank series uses both added fragrance and fragrant plant oils in the formulas. However, these tend to be at the lower end of the ingredients' list, and therefore aren't overpowering to sensitive noses. The scent is like a mild citrusy, floral note.

Is Laneige face cream good?

Laneige face creams surged in popularity all over the world because they are so good. The Water Bank Moisture Cream in particular has been a favourite, because of its ability to plump out the skin and deliver hydration without being overly greasy, pilling under makeup and sitting heavily on top of the skin.

Is Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream non comedogenic?

The Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream is dermatologist-tested (as with all Laneige products) and is non-comedogenic.

Does it feel greasy?

Unlike some petrolatum-based moisturizers, the Laneige Water Bank Moisture cream isn't greasy. It has a silky texture that feels cooling upon contact with the skin, leaving a refreshing finish. It's suitable for combination skin types or even for use in humid climates without feeling too heavy.

Will it cause irritation?

The Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream is non comedogenic and therefore shouldn't cause blocked pores or irritation. However, if you are hypersensitive to fragrances, you might want to give this a miss. While the fragrance is mild, it's always better to be safe and opt for a fragrance-free moisturizer. Alternatively, patch test on the inside of your elbow first before applying to your face.

How well does it absorb into skin?

The Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream boasts a lightweight, silky texture that absorbs rapidly into the skin - especially when it comes to thirsty skin. Want even better results? Apply a layer of the Water Bank Hydro Essence before applying the Water Bank Cream while the skin is slightly damp. It'll produce a better plumping effect, thanks to the hyaluronic acid component.
