let's recycle!

Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:

1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡

2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.

3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.

FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.

That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

A313 - Le Lait Corps Liftant (Firming Body Lotion) - 250ml

Love what A313 does but hate the texture? Try this instead!

Finally, a body treatment worth its salt and that doesn't break the bank! Fine lines and the signs of aging happen on skin everywhere, and not just the face. About time that A313 gives us a Firming Body Lotion with the same key active ingredient that's in its cult original product: retinyl palmitate. This body emulsion however, is far easier to spread into your skin than the original pommade. It also contains caffeine, pea extract and vitamin E to hydrate and refresh.

250ml.

Product of France.

All skin types can benefit from retinol, but as it is an active ingredient, ensure a gradual introduction into your skincare routine to build up your skin's tolerance. Start off with once or twice a week, increasing frequency if your skin permits. It is fantastic for acne, actinic keratosis, hyperpigmentation and fine lines. Note A313 contains lanolin - so avoid if you have a wool allergy. If you suffer from fungal acne, be aware Polysorbate 80 may be a trigger. Always patch test first.

Apply A313 Le Lait Corps Liftant daily to clean, dry skin. Gently massage over the whole body, concentrating on areas prone to sagging: arms, bust, buttocks, thighs. Massage in with circular movements until completely absorbed. Reapply if necessary. We recommend you use this product at night due to Vitamin A's photosensitivity. Always use an SPF during the day.

Precautions: Stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist when redness, swelling, or other skin irritations occur.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does A313 clear acne?

A313 is great at clearing up acne! Because retinol speeds up skin cell turnover, it can make breakouts disappear faster, and pimples 'come to a head' sooner. But just be aware, it can make any existing zits lurking under the surface come up faster too! That's just the nature of retinol. But with consistent use, it should help clear up congestion. Depending on your skin, you might need something stronger or something totally different - there's no silver bullet for acne, unfortunately! So, if A313 doesn't do the job, try a different ingredient like niacinamide or BHA, introduce a routine that uses a combination of different anti-acne ingredients, or speak to your dermatologist about prescription treatments.

Is retinol good for your skin?

There's a reason why retinol is so celebrated: it's simply because retinol is good for your skin. Now, it might not suit everyone, but generally speaking (and in the right doses and frequency), it should clear up congestion, reduce the occurrence of fine lines and even out the complexion. It's also one of the very few skincare ingredients that's been clinically proven to actually reduce pore size!

How long does it take to see results from A313?

Depending on how often you use it, it's around 2-6 weeks until you start to see results from A313. Generally, the congestion-clearing comes sooner, while it may take longer for the anti-ageing results (sometimes up to 4 or 5 months!). But keep at it - consistency is the key and your skin will thank you for it.

Can you use A313 every night?

If it suits your skin, you can use A313 every night. Frankly, using retinol 3 times a week is enough to see good results, so don't feel like you need to use it daily for optimal effects. And don't forget, always wear SPF during the day when you're using any retinol, and keep your skin barrier in good nick!

Can you use A313 during the day?

While you technically can use A313 during the day, we always recommend using any retinol product at night. That's because retinol renders your skin more vulnerable to UV rays. But even when you use A313 at night, always apply your your SPF during the day (and continue to re-apply every couple of hours).
