let's recycle!

Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:

1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡

2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.

3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.

FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.

That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Shake And Shot masks good?

The Shake & Shot masks from Dr Jart are awesome. Much like the Cryo Rubber masks, these masks are meant to better deliver the potent ingredients into the skin than ordinary sheet masks. And the best part is that they're made to minute: just shake it up and give your skin the shot of nourishment it's craving.

What does the Dr Jart Shake And Shot Mask do?

There are four different type of Shake And Shot Masks on Kanvas Beauty, that each cater to different skin concerns. The Brightening Mask treats hyperpigmentation, the Firming Mask laxity, Hydro Mask dehydration and Soothing Mask sensitivity. You can mix and match these masks according to what you feel like and what your skin needs.

What is the benefit of a rubber mask?

The kelp-infused rubber masks basically help to seal in all the key ingredients of the essence, to aid better penetration into the skin. It stops the essence from evaporating in the air, and is meant to add a cooling effect as well.

How well does the Dr Jart Shake And Shot Mask treat pimples?

While the Dr Jart Shake And Shot Masks treat various skin concerns, there isn't one targeted towards pimples, per se. A clay mask, tea-tree or chemical exfoliants are the more straightforward options. However, if you like the feel of the Shake And Shot Masks, try the Brightening version. It contains acne-fighting niacinamide, as well as vitamin C to help fade acne scars.

Does the Dr Jart Shake And Shot Rubber Mask cause irritation?

The ingredients in Dr Jart's Shake And Shot Rubber Masks aren't meant to cause irritation - however, try patch testing some of the essence on your skin first, if you have concerns.

How well does the Dr Jart Shake And Shot Rubber Mask treat blackheads?

While there are plenty of pore-targeting ingredients within the essences of Dr Jart's Shake And Shot Rubber Masks, it wouldn't be the product we'd recommend for treating blackheads. Instead, opt for traditional sebum-absorping and pore shrinking products like a clay mask or a good retinol serum.
