Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.
That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy
The Shake & Shot™ Soothing Rubber Mask from Dr. Jart+ is as fun as it is effective! These rubbery masks are meant to better deliver the potent ingredients into the skin than ordinary sheet masks. And the best part is that they're made to minute: just shake it up and give your skin the shot of nourishment it's craving.
The Soothing Mask ampoule contains Vitamin K3 (menadione) and a soothing botanical complex to calm sensitivity. You may not have heard of vitamin K3 as often as you've heard of its glamourous cousins vitamins A, B and C. Menadione offers collagen-promoting and wound-healing capabilities, making it an excellent ingredient for damaged and irritated skin.

While Dr Jart's Shake And Shot Soothing Rubber Masks contain hard hitting ingredients such as vitamin K3 to calm and repair irritation, it is gentle on sensitive skin.
There are four different type of Shake And Shot Masks on Kanvas Beauty, that each cater to different skin concerns. The Brightening Mask treats hyperpigmentation, the Firming Mask laxity, Hydro Mask dehydration and Soothing Mask sensitivity. You can mix and match these masks according to what you feel like and what your skin needs.
Once you peel off the Dr Jart Shae And Shot Soothing Mask (or any of the Shake And Shot Masks, for that matter), your skin will feel cool and refreshed - like you've just walked out of a spa. There's also a mild exfoliation effect from peeling off the dried mask.
The Dr Jart Shake And Shot Soothing Mask isn't meant to absorb into your skin: rather, it's a peel-off mask, designed to be removed once the formula has sufficiently dried. It can be a bit trickly peeling it all off in one go, but unless it is still wet or caught in your hair, it should come off cleanly and without residue.
For improving skin texture, try the Dr Jart Shake And Shot Soothing Mask! This ampoule contains Vitamin K3 (menadione) and a soothing botanical complex to calm sensitivity. Menadione offers collagen-promoting and wound-healing capabilities, making it an excellent ingredient for rough and damaged skin.
Dr Jart's Shake And Shot Masks should be fine on sensitive skin. The ingredients in their ampoules aren't meant to cause irritation - however, try patch testing some of the ampoule contents on your skin first, if you have concerns.
