Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.
That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy
Jumiso is one of the most slept-on brands in the K-Beauty pantheon because it has excellent products, but not the mega advertising budget. But that's okay! We see you, Jumiso. Obviously, we stock almost all its products and pretty much got the All Day Vitamin Pure C 5.5 Glow Serum as soon as it was released. This is a 5.5% vitamin C serum that uses pure ascorbic acid. It's highly vulnerable to light and heat, so keep it in a cool, dark place (or the fridge) but is extremely effective at brightening the skin. The rest of the formula is simple but sophisticated, with a supporting cast of ferulic acid, vitamin E and alpha-arbutin. And listen, this stuff really works. It's non-oily, feels great on the skin, and definitely handed out that *glow*. Brute.Choi loves it too, just saying.
30ml.
Product of Korea.
Great for all skin types, vitamin C beginners and intermediates.
After cleansing the skin and applying a low pH toner, apply 3-4 drops to your entire kanvas and massage all over the skin and neck. Apply moisturiser and SPF on top.
NOTE: Because even top-of-the-line vitamin C products can degrade from sun exposure, make sure you keep yours away from sunlight to preserve the formula.
Precautions:
Stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist when redness, swelling, or other skin irritations occur, and consult a physician. Avoid applying the product on open wounds or skin inflammation. Keep away from direct sunlight and out of reach of infants and children.

You can use this Jumiso serum everyday, and even twice a day! But vitamin C serums are best used in the morning, because it'll provide your skin with superb antioxidant protection.
You shouldn't apply a vitamin C serum under the eyes (unless it's specifically formulated for the eye contour area). I mean, we have done it before but it DOES cause irritation. Using a proper under-eye serum or cream is advantageous because the ingredients in those formulas are usually hydrolysed to penetrate the under-eye skin.
After using this brightening facial serum from Jumiso, we would recommend using a moisturiser. The general skincare steps are cleanser, toner, serum and moisturiser. We wouldn't skip a moisturiser after using a vitamin C serum because they don't really moisturise in and of themselves. And this serum isn't oily at all, so skin will require some extra moisture.
You can use this Jumiso serum at night or in the day, whichever suits your routine best. We'd recommend using vitamin C serums in the morning however, because it will provide antioxidant production against free radicals during the day. Think of it as a supplement to your SPF.
The best combination with this facial serum is a cleansing balm, cleanser, Jumiso's Glow Toner, followed by this serum. Use a suitable moisturiser afterwards, and then an SPF during the day time.
