Laneige

LANEIGE - Water Sleeping Mask - 70ml (2 types)

$35

This intensive moisturizing overnight mask from Laneige will make your skin brighter, supple and more radiant so you always wake up looking like you've had a full 8 hours' sleep in the morning! Its lightweight, gel texture feels soothing on your skin and effectively locks in moisture. However, it doesn't clog pores - so it's ideal dry/dehydrated skin that's also acne prone (even cystic acne). We love its faint, chamomile-like fragrance - it'll lull you to sleep.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can you use Laneige Sleeping Mask everyday?

It is perfectly safe to use Laneige's Water Sleeping Mask everyday, particularly if you have persistently dry skin or if you have a tendency to wipe off all your moisturizer on your pillows as you sleep. The Sleeping Mask will help to lock the moisture in, closely binding it to your skin's surface as you catch your zzz's.

What does Laneige Sleeping Mask do?

The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is an intensive overnight hydration treatment. It's not heavy or greasy, making it ideal for those experiencing dehydration or sun damage. The texture is like a cooling water gel, and can be used on its own or over a moisturizer (depending on how dry your skin feels). Try wearing it after a big night when you're predicting a hangover the next day, and wake up to surprisingly plumper and refreshed skin!

Is Laneige Sleeping Mask worth the hype?

When it comes to Laneige's Sleeping Mask, believe the hype. It does a great job at correcting dehydration without clogging pores and sans irritation. In fact, it's even safe for acne-prone skin wanting to offset the drying impacts of an anti-acne treatment (e.g. retinoids).

Does Laneige Sleeping Mask have alcohol?

Laneige's Water Sleeping Mask DOES contain alcohol, so if you are highly sensitive to this ingredient, then skip it. However, it's towards the bottom of the ingredients' list so its inclusion in the formula would be minimal and likely for stabilizing reasons. Hence, it won't make an impact on skin which doesn't display strong sensitivity towards it. If you're unsure, make sure you patch test it first on your arm (something we'd recommend as par for the course for any beauty product)!

Do you wash off Laneige Sleeping Mask?

Just in the morning when you wake up and wash your face as usual! There's no need to wash the Laneige Sleeping Mask off before you go to bed. Overnight is when the mask does its best work.

Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:

    1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home.

    2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.

    3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.

FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.

That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy
